Life for Winston is fairly similar, day after day, you know. So in an effort to keep things exciting, I just tried giving him some coriander for dinner. I don’t think he likes it. It’s hard to tell whether he doesn’t like it or is just scared of it cos it’s new. Because that’s common too. I mean, he’s a guinea pig. His people have been persecuted for centuries. He’s gotta be careful with new food. It could be poisoned.
In other news, his big house got infested with baby cockroaches the other week, so for the meantime he’s been living in his old cage. I don’t think he likes it. It’s not that inhumanely small or anything, but I think compared to his big place, this is just unacceptable for him. He’s such a sook. :)
I will update on the situation with the coriander as the news breaks. :)
New house
Check out the new photos! Winston has a new house that we made! Woo!
In other news, his birthday was reasonably uneventful. No birthday cake for him, but thats okay. He got parsley though. That was special. He likes parsley.
He went to the doctor recently, and she told us that Winston is too fat. Duh. But now he has his new house now with lots of room to run around in, so maybe he’ll get skinny. Then he can be a Skinny Pig.
Or maybe not.
it’s me again
Hi there. Nothing much new in the world of Winston. I’ve uploaded a few more photos of him to Flickr, which you can see on the Pictures page, including a nice one of his dog and him having cuddles. (And that’s all it is too - cuddles.)

Since Wordpress is so easy to use, I thought we should update Winston’s page and actually include something interesting here, since the webcam is kaputt!
Winston’s going to be 1 year old on 1st August! We haven’t had him the whole year obviously, and it’s just an estimation based on the day we got him and how old he was, but whatever - that’s now his official birthday.
He doesn’t get cake though. We could probably have cake though because we’re humans. He can have hay, because he’s a guinea pig and that’s what guinea pigs get. Hay. And vegies. No cake.
